Spring of 2022 is going to be an exciting time at the Ranch.
Our fingers are crossed for three litters of piglets, up to ten new lambs, and a few batches of hatchling chicks.
Maybe a duckling or two if we're really lucky!
It has been such a whirlwind getting TumbleRoot Ranch up and running. It wouldn't be the same without the amazing community we've developed - and we want you to be a part of it.
We are so excited to start offering Ranch tours starting the third weekend in April, on Saturdays and Sundays.
Here's what you can expect when you come to visit:
You'll start at the Farm Stand with a brief introduction and head into the Ranch where we'll stop at each animal to see them up close. Your guide will fill you in on our management practices, pass around speciality tools, and answer any questions. We will also share the reasoning behind raising each animal and the important role they have on our property. During your visit you'll see pigs, including our breed stock which weigh around 500 pounds, sheep, chickens, ducks, horses, and our honey bees. Depending on your timing you might see baby piglets, lambs, and/or chicks as well.
Check back here after March 1st to schedule a fun trip up the Entiat Valley and see what we've been up to.
