Who We Are

In 2014 we decided to start a journey in the dirt, on the land, and with animals.

We bought our first piece of land and immediately began to recover it.  We were able to save some old buildings from the choking strength of the vines, and they are still in service as barns today.

Animals were a necessary step in bringing our property back to life - the pigs to till, the sheep to graze, and rich manure to fertilize the top-soil deprived dirt.  Hours have turned into years in an effort to achieve our dream of growing food and fibers in a healthy, natural way that regenerates the land.

Being first generation ranchers comes with its torment, but we’ve learned a lot:

Pair patience with grit.
Hands on experience goes a long way, and listen to your mentors.
A supportive community is as invaluable as a sturdy fence.

As we continue to grow, the focus will always be to leave this little chunk of Earth better than we found it, and to grow food you can feel good about.
