Have something to offer? Want to learn? Just want to help out?

Throughout the year we have chores and projects that could use some extra hands on deck. Mother Nature dictates a lot of what we do so, if you send us an e-mail, we will be in touch with more details as things get lined up.

  • May - August

    Many hands make light work.
Bring a friend or a group.

Help pick up bales in the field to load the trailer and unload/stack in the barn. Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds. We have extra hay hooks.

Be prepared with a water bottle, sturdy shoes, gloves, long sleeves and pants. Hats are not a bad idea either.

  • Twice a year Jordan will shear sheep. The lambs are done in the fall, and the ewes in the winter. Minimally you will help round up the sheep and keep them moving through the chute. Help with Skirting/Bagging Wool. Possible handling of sheep or more depending on experience/comfort level (vaccinations, feet trimming, etc.)

Be prepared with a water bottle, sturdy shoes, gloves, long sleeves and pants.

  • Time is project dependent. If you have a few hours, a whole day, or want to camp out for the weekend - let’s talk!

There is usually something needing to be fixed, taken down, rebuilt, or completely started from scratch. Great if you’re able to lift/hold 30-50 pounds, but not necessary. Basic knowledge of power tools is ideal, but not necessary.

Be prepared with a water bottle, sturdy shoes, gloves, long sleeves and pants.

  • Memorial Day weekend is typically the best time to get pumpkin seeds in the ground.

Leading up to this we will be prepping beds with compost and setting up irrigation.

Throughout the season the vines will need to be trimmed, and of course there’s the harvest.

May be crouching and/or kneeling for extended periods of time.

Be prepared with a water bottle, sturdy shoes, gloves, sunscreen or long sleeves and a hat.

Send us an e-mail to let us know what you’re interested in.
